Music & Satsang

Daily Meditation Through Music and Presence

At Osho Home Ashram, music and meditation arise from the same source.

Each day, Swami Shrila Prem Paras shares satsang and conscious music as a natural expression of meditation. These gatherings are not performances, but living experiences where silence, awareness, and sound merge.

Through music, the mind settles. Through silence, one's natural state becomes accessible.

This daily rhythm forms the heart of the Buddhafield.

Daily Satsang

Satsang takes place regularly as part of the natural daily life of the ashram.

In satsang, individuals sit in presence with Swamiji, beyond formal teaching or doctrine. Silence, clarity, and awareness arise naturally.

There is nothing to learn intellectually. The emphasis is on direct experience.

Meditators participate simply by being present.

Silent Music as Meditation

Swami Shrila Prem Paras shares original compositions and spontaneous musical expressions that arise directly from inner stillness.

These gatherings often include:

Meditative singing
Silent listening
Kirtan
Spontaneous musical creation
Deep states of stillness and presence

Music becomes a doorway into meditation.

Sur Khumari — The Fragrance of Meditation Through Sound

Sur Khumari is the living expression of meditation through music created by Swami Shrila Prem Paras.

These gatherings allow participants to move beyond the mind and enter silence through sound.

Many individuals experience deep inner stillness, emotional release, and meditative clarity through these musical satsangs.

Sur Khumari has been shared across India, Switzerland, and internationally.

At Osho Home Ashram, this meditative musical space continues daily.

From Bollywood composer to Spiritual Master

Before dedicating his life fully to the Divine, Swami Shrila Prem Paras was a music composer in the Bollywood film industry. His work contributed to productions such as Jhansi ki Rani (TV serial), Jaana (film), Cricket world cup song 2011, and he remains connected with musicians and artists from the industry.

At the height of his musical career, an inner shift led him toward meditation. Music did not stop. It transformed.

Over the past 12 years, Swamiji has shared meditation, satsang, and conscious music freely in India and internationally. In Switzerland, he conducted some of the country’s largest meditation gatherings, bringing together music and silence in powerful collective experiences.

What once arose from artistic creation began to arise from silence itself.

Today, his music is not composed for performance, but emerges naturally from meditation and satsang. Music is no longer entertainment, but a doorway into stillness, a path to the Divine.

This rare journey from professional composer to meditation master forms the living foundation of Osho Home Ashram.
